Juvenile-In-Justice by Richard Ross

SVYSC, in operation for four years, is a secure treatment facility for juveniles with severe mental health needs and violent offenders. Juveniles stay at SVYSC between twelve and eighteen months. The facility has 20 beds and at the time of visit all beds were in use. In most cases SVYSC is a last resort facility, after a juvenile has flunked out of other institutions.
